Child Safety & Privacy Policy

PakStudent is built for Class 9 and 10 students — most of them are between 13 and 17 years old. This page explains, in plain words for parents and students, how we protect children, what data of theirs exists, what is public, and what parents should do.
1. Parental involvement is required
- Registration requires a parent's or guardian's consent — the student must confirm this at sign-up before an account is created.
- We collect the father's CNIC photo and guardian mobile numbers so identity is verified, fake accounts are blocked, and result reports and rewards reach parents directly.
- Our honour code requires that every test is taken in front of a father, mother or family elder. Please sit with your child during tests — it is part of how PakStudent works.
2. Data minimisation for children
- Student photos and CNIC photos are stored on the student's own device only (browser storage). They are not uploaded to a central server.
- We never ask children for bank details, ATM cards, home addresses or precise locations.
- We never sell, rent or trade student data to anyone — no exceptions.
- Rewards are arranged with the parent/guardian on the registered mobile numbers, never through a child's bank account.
3. What is public — and what never is

Parents may ask us to hide a topper listing at any time — email support@pakstudent.com and we will remove it.
4. Advertising and children
If advertising (Google AdSense) is enabled, it is configured for a family/education audience. Personalised advertising consent is requested through our cookie banner — children should ask a parent before pressing Accept. Rejecting cookies never blocks any learning feature. See the Cookie Policy.
5. Behaviour rules and moderation
- No bullying, harassment, hate, or inappropriate content anywhere on the platform — violations earn strikes; 10 strikes = permanent ban.
- Every upload starts as pending and is reviewed by a human admin before any reward is given.
- Anyone can report a topper listing or content using the Report button on the website; reports go to the admin moderation queue and are reviewed.
- Serious violations (illegal content, fraud, hacking) can be banned immediately without strikes.
6. What we ask parents to do
- Be present at registration — provide the CNIC photo and mobile numbers yourself.
- Sit with your child during tests — this is our honour code and it keeps results honest.
- Review the account regularly — everything is visible on your child's device: uploads, scores, badges, messages.
- Encourage 1 hour of honest daily study — that is what our badges and rewards recognise.
- Keep a backup — data lives in the browser; export a backup before changing devices.
7. Requests and contact
Parents can request correction of wrong information, hiding of a topper listing, or deletion guidance for their child's data at any time: email support@pakstudent.com (mention the registered email and mobile number) or use the Contact page. Safety concerns are answered first, usually within 24 hours.
